Frequently Asked Questions

How do I find out my ring size?

The most accurate way to find your ring size is to go to a local jeweler and ask them to size you. My suggestion? Size every finger you have and make a note of it.

If a local jeweler isn’t an option, ring sizers can be ordered online and shipped to your house. There are several tutorials online that use a string and ruler method, however I personally have not found them to be terribly accurate.

In order to avoid disappointment if your ring doesn’t fit properly, take the extra step and have your fingers measured. Resizing is not always an option

Can I have something custom made?

I will accept custom work at my discretion. Space for custom work depends on many factors (my fulltime job as a captain, material inventories, etc). I do offer made to order or made to finish pieces in an attempt to best match you with a piece of jewelry in your size. Email me wyndfallwares@gmail.com if you have a special custom in mind, forgive me if I say no.

As a general rule, custom orders are closed through the months of May-September.

A previous style is sold out, how do I get one?

I have common themes that run though Wyndfall Wares, but these pieces are unique and one of a kind. There are small irregularities in silver that are the nature of hand forged jewelry. The turquoise I source is purchased from small scale lapidary artists, no two pieces are identical. If there is something you have seen before and would like to purchase, send me an email or message/comment on Instagram to provide feedback to bring back a previous style. I love to hear that my jewelry resonates with you, and hope to match you with a unique piece that brings you joy.

Where are materials sourced?

All of the turquoise I source is mined in the United States. It is cut and sold by lapidary artists (stone cutters). I choose to support their small businesses to offer you ethically sourced materials.
